About the Host

Joil A. Marbut

Joil Marbut is the host of Sage Spirituality. He has served as a missionary in the Amazon jungle in South America for over 25 years. During that time he has assisted in planting dozens of churches in areas where the Gospel had never been preached.

He is a husband, a father, a student of church history, a pastor, a teacher, and a writer, but he is first and foremost a disciple of Jesus Christ. His reading list is ever-growing and his greatest joy is seeing others come alive in Christ.

He invites you to lean in and reach back, to pull up a chair at the Sage Spirituality table as you go deeper in your walk with God.
